Take part in UA’s gender equity survey
Help promote strategies towards meaningful change.
Dear valued readers,
University Affairs will be releasing a special issue in the new year exploring challenges, opportunities and strategies to achieving gender equity in the academy. To do so, we need your perspective.
Your voice and experiences are crucial to understanding the challenges and opportunities that women and gender minorities face at Canadian postsecondary institutions.
Your participation ensures we are inclusive of diverse voices, highlight persistent gaps and promising practices, and will help us foster a fair and inclusive academic environment.
By taking a few moments to complete our confidential Gender Equity Survey, you will:
- Identify perceptions of gender biases: Your insights will help identify and mitigate the barriers women face in the academy today.
- Explore promising opportunities: Your feedback will identify where progress is being made and the practices that achieve success, and where efforts are needed most.
- Shape an equitable and inclusive future: Your input will identify best and promising practices across the postsecondary sector, and guide actionable solutions to create workplaces where everyone can thrive.
This survey is gender inclusive. If you are a faculty or an administrative staff member, please complete this survey to help us understand these challenges and opportunities, and propose community-identified solutions to promote gender equity in the academy.
This survey will take approximately 20 minutes to complete. The deadline is Dec. 12, 2024. All responses will be kept confidential. Abacus Data will only share de-personalized data with University Affairs and the research team. Read our data collection agreement here.
All those who complete the survey can choose to enter a draw for a chance to win one of 10 Amazon gift cards valued at $100.
We appreciate your cooperation.
