University Affairs wins four golds at Canadian Business Media Awards

University Affairs took home four gold awards at the Canadian Business Media Awards, the highest number of golds presented to any publication this year.

Our awards include:

  • Best Issue (Porn Studies, Feb. 2015)
  • Best Cover (Good Food Revolution, April 2015, photography by Michael Crichton, art direction by Underline Studio)
  • Best Photograph (Good Food Revolution, April 2015, photography by Michael Crichton, art direction by Underline Studio)
  • Best Art Direction of an Opening Spread (Mad Studies)

UA also received four honourable mentions in the categories of Best News Coverage, Best Feature Article – Professional, Best Media Brand and Best Art Direction for a Complete Issue.

The Canadian Business Media Awards (formerly the Kenneth R Wilson Awards) recognize excellence in Canada’s business-to-business media. The 2016 awards were handed out in Toronto on Tuesday night. This year’s competition drew 141 submissions from 36 media outlets.
