About the Position
The successful applicant will contribute to ongoing research, present research findings to faculty and students, and assist with the mentoring of students in the Faculty of Public and Global Affairs at Carleton University. The applicant should indicate one or more of the 12 academic units of particular interest. The Faculty of Public and Global Affairs will provide office space and the opportunity to be involved in research projects.

• The next competition, for awards to be taken up in the 2026-2027 Academic Year, will open in February 2026
• US$50,000 for academic year (8 months)
• Grants begin in September 2026

About the Faculty
The Faculty of Public and Global Affairs has over 200 faculty members with close to 50 hired in the past five years. This research-intensive faculty is home to 12 Research Chairs and a combined $8.5 million in total research funding in the most recent fiscal year.
