About ITHQ
For over 50 years, the Institut de tourisme et d'hôtellerie du Québec (ITHQ) has been Canada's benchmark for specialized training in the tourism, hospitality and restaurant services sectors. Meeting the industry’s highest standards, it is the only school in the country to offer programs at all three levels of education (vocational, technical and university). It boasts unique facilities, including a hotel school, two teaching restaurants, a bar and a hospitality consulting centre. In addition to its degree programs, the ITHQ also offers training for professionals, services for businesses and institutions, and workshops for the general public (Ateliers SAQ par ITHQ).

The ITHQ's university academic offerings currently include two bachelor's degree programs, one of which is offered jointly with ESG UQAM, a certificate program, and three short programs. It is home to two research units, GastronomiQc Lab and ExperiSens. Thus, the ITHQ offers a thriving academic environment and opportunities for applied research in the hospitality, tourism, hotel and restaurant services (THR) sectors.
