Department: Department of Finance, Economics and Decision Sciences

Qualifications, Expectations & Application Process

• Qualifications
  • Preference will be given to candidates with a Ph.D. (or ABD) in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Decision Sciences, or a related field, as well as a demonstrated commitment to teaching and research.
  • Expertise in teaching graduate and undergraduate courses in Global Supply Chain Management.
  • Demonstrated relevant academic background, research portfolio, and a record of teaching excellence.
  • Experience with remote/online/hybrid instruction is desirable.
• Expectations
• • Teach graduate-level courses, including Global Supply Chain Management and related quantitative courses, among others.
  • Supervise graduate students in their Major Research Projects (MRP).
  • Teach relevant undergraduate courses such as operations management, statistics, and quantitative methods.
  • Engage in curriculum development and contribute to the enhancement of the undergraduate and graduate programs.
  • Participate in service to the university, such as student mentorship, research advising, and academic committees.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as outlined in the OPSEU Local 685 Full-time faculty collective agreement.
