Trent University School of Education invites applications for a twelve-month limited-term appointment (LTA) with a start date of August 15, 2025. The position is subject to final budgetary approval. Successful candidates will teach a combination of curriculum and foundations courses (Primary/Junior and/or Intermediate Senior) including Indigenous & Environmental Studies (IES) (Primary/Junior and Intermediate/Senior). The position will include providing mentoring and professional development support for pre-service teachers in the Indigenous Bachelor of Education (IBEP) program, as well as other duties as agreed upon with the Dean. The successful candidate will also serve as a Faculty Advisor (practicum).

The School of Education seeks applicants with strong scholarship and demonstrated excellence in teaching (at the Primary/Junior, Intermediate/Senior, and/or university level). A completed Ph.D. (or near completion) in Indigenous Education or closely related discipline is required. We welcome applicants who are committed to an integrative approach and to a vision of teaching and learning guided by ecological and social justice.
