DUTIES
“Successful candidates with a bipartite appointment will teach theory and practice courses in the undergraduate and graduate programs, have a developed program of research /scholarship and engage in service to the university and community.”
QUALIFICATIONS
- PhD or other doctorate; consideration may be given to candidates with a Masters degree
- Evidence of funding or application for research/project funding
- Established program of scholarship/research;
- Evidence of dissemination of research and scholarship through peer-reviewed publications and conferences
- Holds a minimum of one (1) degree in nursing;
- Five (5) years full-time or equivalent hours of nursing experience;
- Evidence of continuous learning in the field of expertise;
- Experience teaching theory and clinical practice;
- Experience with simulation learning environments is an asset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- An understanding of, and experience in, the Canadian healthcare system;
- Current BCCNM registration in good standing without limits or conditions, or eligibility for registration with BCCNM before appointment;
- Preference will be given to applicants with advanced education or practice in mental health, maternity, or community health.

Pay Band; $73,665.93 - $114,124.39 ( According to TRUFA Salary Schedule (Range TS01 - TS12) )
