Climate Science and Security - Faculty Positions

Royal Military College Saint-Jean is looking for faculty passionate about the climate and its effects on security to join its team! We will soon launch our new Bachelor of Science program in climate science and security, which aims to train future officers of the Canadian Armed Forces in the scientific principles of the climate system and the methods of climate data analysis, applied to a security and defence context.
We are looking for exceptional candidates, ready to shape a program from its inception and to build new research strengths with us. If you are a climate, environmental or data scientist, this program could be an opportunity to boost your career and make a significant contribution to Canadian society and in particular to the Canadian Armed Forces.
More specifically, we are looking for Assistant, Associate or Full Professors in the following broad areas:
- Climate and Earth system science;
- Atmospheric and ocean physics, and climate modelling;
- Quantitative methods and data science;
- Climate impacts, risk and adaptation, including climate security and defence issues.
