WLU latest school to implement a smoke-free policy
Wilfrid Laurier University says its new policy will go into effect on July 1. It prohibits the smoking of tobacco and cannabis, as well as vaping, on school property.

Quebec’s Bill 21 challenged in court
The plaintiff at the centre of Monday’s legal challenge is Ichrak Nourel Hak — a Université de Montréal student training to become a teacher. Because Nourel Hak wears a hijab, she won’t be allowed to teach in a public school if Bill 21 is applied.
