Northern medical students staying in the north, choosing family medicine, NOSM U says
According to a recent news release from the university, 38 of the 69 eligible MD students at NOSM U were matched to family medicine residencies – at 55 per cent, this is the highest proportional residency rate in Canada.

Food insecurity remains high among Lakehead University students
About 200-250 students at Lakehead University in Thunder Bay, Ont., use the Food Resource Centre on campus. A Declutter and Donate Drive was held on campus this week to collect non-perishable food items and kitchen supplies.
