Encieh Erfani is an exiled scholar from Iran and a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics, and a College Member of the Royal Society of Canada. She works on science policy initiatives related to academic freedom and support for at-risk and displaced scholars, including the Canadian Alliance for Researchers at Risk and Exile (CARE).
