Opinion: Canadian government must fund research centre that was helping to end animal testing
It was a monumental moment, in 2023, when the Canadian government passed Bill S-5, vowing to phase out toxicity testing and ban cosmetic testing on animals. Though we were years behind other countries in doing so, including the entire EU, Canada was at least now on the right track.
