The province’s 25 public universities, colleges and institutes are receiving nearly $1.9 million in funding, equal to $75,000 each, to make these opportunities happen.

University of Alberta closing residence for students with children, believes other buildings can accommodate families
One of the University of Alberta’s oldest residences is closing. Michener Park has been around for more than 50 years. As Kim smith reports, it’s the only residence where students can live with their kids.

Work begins on underground REM station by Université de Montréal
Construction began Monday on the new underground light rail station near Université de Montréal, slated to become the second-deepest of its kind in North America, after one in Portland, Ore.
