Turpel-Lafond returns honorary degree to another B.C. university after internal review
Royal Roads University announced Tuesday it accepted the return of the honorary doctorate of laws it awarded Dr. Turpel-Lafond in 2016.

University of Sask. creates first-of-its-kind research chair in Métis governance and policy-making
Over a million dollars in funding has been put aside for the position. The money is a combined commitment from the Métis Nation–Saskatchewan, the University of Saskatchewan, and the Johnson Shoyama Graduate School of Public Policy.
